Default ac delco slotted/drilled rotor question

i purchased set of ac delco slotted/drilled rotors after about
two weeks they turned rusty in a lot of areas more than the
stock c5 rotors that clean themselves up in a couple of
minutes what do yall do to make them look presentable?
any suggestions would certainly be appreciated!!!!!

Rust is part of the game, and anyway, what it so wrong with a little rust??

I am currently running 1/2 set of the drilled rotors against and OEM unit to see if they hold up better or worse. .

If anyone else has any experience with these rotors please let me know ASAP as mine are to be delivered on Thursday and I will return them and make another choice if they are going to look rusty all of the time. I will keep them if this is a minor problem.

Porsche brake rotors never seem to have this problem. What gives?

Does anyone have any experience with "Powerslot" rotors?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Dude, I had the same thing happen and I was pissed! Rust sucks! It belongs on Locomotive wheels not a C5!

I tokk em off along with the Caliper Brackets and had them Nickel/Zinc Plated.
Here is the link for the place in Florida I had em done. You can find a place locally to do it.
They did it for about $300 cause I had rust. But if there was no rust..$200
Plus the plating is much thicker than the Baers and such...

Look Awesome and saved a ton of $

I decided to send them back and go with Powerslot rotors instead--slotted but not drilled. Glad I saw this thread!
