I have a 2000 coupe with stock wheels. I have access to a nice set of C6 polished wheels that are Front= 18 x 8.5 +56 offset and Rear= 19 x 10 +70 offset. Has any done this and if so how did they work, rub, ride, etc? I checked the OD and rev per mile of the tires and they are very close to the stock sizes on my car now.
I have chrome C6 wheels on my 97... I like the look with 1" spacers on the rear... if you use your tpms, you will have to use your C5 sensors, You will need 4 gromets for the c6 sensors to make them fit the C6 wheel just right..hope that helps...John
front C6 rims are the same exact offset as front C5 rims. Direct bolt on with no issues.
Rear C6 rims have a different offset than factory C5 rear rims... the C6 rims will sit slightly inward.
Seems 50% of those doing this swap experience slight rear tire rub against the inner fenderwell. When I did this upgrade, the rear tires were close - but not touching. I still went with 1/4" plate spacers on the rears - solely for cosmetic reasons.

Exactly as Mike said....I did not need spacers on the rear - no rubbing - but a set of 1/4 inch spacers are pretty cheap and the look on the C5 is great...
