Which exhausts systems have all 4 tips adjacent to each other? Meaning that the tips simply look like they were lined up next to each other. The Corsa Pace system with the Tigershark tips is one example
Who else makes catback systems that resemble this? I believe B&B did as well but can't find any pics to prove that.
Any other input? Since this time I found the Tigershark tips from Corsa fit the bill. Any other exhaust systems that fit the description I'm looking for?
Not sure if the space between the left 2 tips and the right 2 tips is going to be larger than between the 2 tips on each side.
It's funny you bring that up. My buddy just installed a Pypes catback (with Kooks headers and x-pipe) on his '07 Mustang, and the car sounds PHENOMENAL. We just did a track day on Monday, and his car was easily the best sounding car there. That being said, the fitment with his mufflers was for ****. He spent $240 just to have all the hangers rewelded at different spots to get it to fit correctly, and he was back 2 times at the exhaust shop to get it perfect.
I have Corsa on my C5 which obviously fit well and sound great (albeit "exotic" - not muscle).
I have Pypes Violator System on my 09 Dodge Challenger. There are many reports of fitment issues, but I followed the directions carefully and it fit fine. They sound amazing. I'd go with racePro mufflers for an Auto, Violators for M6.
For my money, if I had the C5 stock exhaust, I'd go to a local muffler show and have them order just the Pypes mufflers and some tips, then get them to cut and weld them mufflers/tips in. Probably all for less than $500. Especially on a car like the C5 where stock exhaust flows freely and no gains are made from going aftermarket.
