Default Full Brake Sysytem Bleed/Flush

Hey guys, the forum search engine is a joke. I typed in brakes, brake bleed, brake job, brake flush and got nothing. Any of you guys done a full system flush? I want to upgrade my brake fluid to DOT5 synthetic for future autocross events. I also want to remove the calipers and paint them red. Ive never doen it before and would like to try and learn. Help? Even a DIY link would really help, thnx.

DOT 5 is a silicone based brake fluid and is not compatible with glycol based fluids. I don't think a simple flush will do it. You would need to disassemble all the brake components and clean them before exposing them to DOT 5. DOT 5 does not absorb water, but that can cause other problems with any water in the system collecting instead of being absorbed.

Not to mention any ABS implications.
