Not sure if this is normal or not, but when I am racing and trying to shift very fast I sometimes end up grinding a gear. This has happened a couple of times. Even 2nd gear! I have wondered if maybe my clutch foot is too fast for my right arm. I don't experience this problem in other cars. I don't think I am a bad racer/driver. I am really not sure I want to blame this on me. When I try to snap the shifter from first to second the shifter comes out of gear to neutral then it seems like it stops before going into second, this all happens in less than a second, though it is enough time that I have already let the clutch back out. Is this normal with the T-56? I experience the same shifter hesitation shifting to 3rd, 4th, 5th.
ya i'm wondering if i hurt mine as well.. i mean i can drive the hell out of my car but there is that occasional slip up once in a great while... and i feel like i just shot someone every time i do it ... anyway... mine seems ok i guess... just when its cold it a bitch to drive... so i just double clutch and its fine until it warms up... like 40k miles on it and i think i'm just going to give the trans a oil change... hope it fixes it
There are quite a few threds on this topic already. If the turkey baster method on the fluid dosent work, look into the tick adjustable clutch master cylinder. Just search for results there are plenty.
