Default fuel tank parts

I am trying to find the rubber gasket that goes between the fuel pump and tank. Does anyone have a part # for that and the fuel pump sock?
Also; the two wires that attach to the sending unit have pulled loose (don't ask) Is this somthing that can be purchased separately?
My local dealer struggles to find items
Thanks

My parts catalog indicate the gasket is only available by purchasing a complete fuel tank...
Same with the sock it only comes as part of the fuel pump assemply...

Nothing on the connector for the fuel level sensor again part of the fuel pump assembly.

I would say your best bet is to check with some of the wrecking yards that have Corvette C5 parts ....

WHAT????

Only available when buying a complete tank?? Are they crazy

The gasket would seem to be somthing that you COULD replace any time you replace the fuel pump. Since it is made of rubber, It would be susceptible to deteriating and tearing. Mine has a tear in it, and I didn't want to take a chance on it leaking.
Same with the sock. It's a filter, so it seems like it should be a replaceable part, but I'll just reinstall the one on it now I guess.

Bryron

It's a 98; Drive side. I need the rubber gasket that goes between the fuel pump and tank to seal it.

Have him order in:

12458250 Fuel sender seal, and
12130416 Fuel pump wiring harness

When they come in, eyeball them to see if that's what you need.

You'll have to re-use your sock.
HTH

BTW, LPE lists a GM part # 12459863 (AC Delco GF-25) "Fuel tank module seal kit" as an item in it's fuel pump installation instructions. It says: "included module bolts". Not sure if this is still a good GM part number but worth looking at.

Thanks Lonestar

Is the 12130416 the sending unit. I haven't had any luck soldering the wires back on the board, so I guess I need to pick up the entire sending unit
Thanks

Thanks again
I think I'll post on the parts section first and see if anyone that has "updated" to a different system has anything

It's really hard to tell in the parts book illustration. This harness is shown as the one inside the tank on the pump assembly and it does make mention of the fact that it includes a connector on one end. Wish I could be more specific.
