Default Spark Plug Gap??? In a hurry!!!

Gents, I searched but couldn't find anything.

What would a good gap be for a forged internal, AFR headed, cammed 01 C5. I have nitrous on the car but never use it so figured i could swap the plugs and open up the gap.

I think 54 was stock should I go back to that?
Oh and TR6's should still be used correct?

Thanks
Ben

TR6's at .035 is what im gapped at for a blown engine but could be anywhere in that area.

Thanks, I thought for power adder it was down in the mid 30's which of course my 36 proved me right.

Since I am not running the juice I am looking for a bigger gap and want to know what might be best.

FWIW,,The book on the newer Delco Iridium plug is .040..and my stock motor really perked up,,ran a 13.08/110.23 shortly after install. Only running a Blackwing and Corsa Touring! .040 is a good all around number,,even if you decide to try the juice!!

I ended up putting them at .45.

I did have a decent coating of oil on all the threads. The back passenger side plug had the most on it. Is oil on the threads blow-by or is it somewhat normal?

On the threads only?? How did the plug tips look? Any external leak sources(like valve covers)? Basically oil on threads is not normal,,need to locate the source!!
