Replaced both leaking Drive Shaft Housing Seals with new ones, bought from a dealer. Soon after installation, this initial replacement set started to leak as well. Again, the second replacement set, installed just this week, went south too, after driving only about 100 miles in three days.
Question: Has GM replaced these seals with a new part #, of which I’m not aware? If not, and given that the drive shafts are not bent, what could be the problem?
Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks, and regards, GRT.

Reason: more precise
Did you check the shaft where the seals ride to make sure there is not a groove worn into them. After 60,000 miles mine have a pretty good groove. Mine are not leaking yet but it is something to check.
Are you sure the leak is coming from the shaft seals and not the housing seals? A lot of people assume the leaks are around the shafts and they are actually from the o-ring seal on the housing covers, or even from the overflow vent.
