Re: My Custom Vette Doctors Rollbar is almost finished! (Hammer)
Hammer,
Since I do a lot of road courses and do take passangers once and a while, I am going with the 6 point. The 2 front bars will be swing outs and removable for daily driving.

Rschiltz,
I am leaning towards having it painted. I am seriously considering having it wrapped in leather in the future. The real nice thing about The Vette Doctors design is that the two rear support tubes attatch to the frame and still allow for the top to be stored in the rear!! This was one of my only requirements.

Bill,
Wow, that is really nice looking! They should consider selling this as a bona-fide product! Being able to store the top in the rear with the cage in is a strong selling point. Congrats on a great looking setup!

Bill, I saw Russ gutting out your car a few days ago. They put a lot of thought into this job and I saw how the roof mounts were cleared in the trunk. Pretty cool. I also like the swing out door bars. Where do you plan on mounting your camera? Will it fit on the bar in the rear?

Mine is part of a total package. You should call them directly for a quote. I believe they are very competitevly priced with the other custom designers.
Re: My Custom Vette Doctors Rollbar is almost finished! (STEALTH C-5)
Is it chrome-moly?What does it weigh?
I was going to go with the CM but at the last minute we decided to go with the thin steel. The material is a little cheeper and I didn't think the weight diff was that significant. I also liked the look of the thicker bars. I am not sure what the total weight is for the entire setup.
