tranny help
i have a 00 c5 h/c/i vette. its an automatic. i rarely drive it. about a week ago the car would stay in first then when it got to aroung 4k rpm then it would finally shift to 2nd. i took it to the tranny shop and put everything new. now its been 4 days and its doing it again.wat could be the problem? the center console get extreamly hot so do the side of the seats. i installed a heat shield that goes under the car that is made just to prevent the heat but it still does it. can that have anything to do with it?
