MGW shifter lever ....
came off yesterday as I attemted to shift from 2nd to 3rd. Knew exactly want had happened as the lever was sideways in the boot while I still had hold of it. Needless to say, I didn't have a hex with me to make the repair. My daughter -in- law was following me and she returned to the last town we came thru and was able to find a multi tip screw driver that worked. Just thought I would alert everyone to the possibility. Re-did the lever today and used locktite. Hope this holds.

Was it a c5 or a c6 model. Recently installed a c5 model and it's good to know for a heads up. Regards, GRT
