Default need info on rotors

I want to replace my stock rotors with slotted/crossed drilled ones that will fit my stock calipers on my 2002 Zo6. Who makes the best rotors?

BEST to fit stock calipers, probably Baer EradiSpeed Plus. A two piece (aluminum hats/centers) at about $540 EACH ! They reduce weight on suspension.

You can get good slotted/drilled rotors for about $70 each (zinc plated), try:

That all depends on what you do with your car. If you're really into performance driving / racing / track days, you'll want a different brand than somebody who uses theirs as a weekend cruiser; and you may want to reconsider the cross-drilled requirement if you do track the car. They tend to crack easier when put under that kind of stress.

Anyway, a good place to start looking would be at Baer Decelarotors, which are a good balance between performance and price, especially if you buy them here: (about $120 cheaper than anywhere else I've seen them, AND a supporting vendor)

If you want more performance but at a higher price, then check out Baer's Eradispeed rotors. They are still cross-drilled and slotted as well.

If you're more into looks and less into performance, you don't necessarily need to splurge on high-end parts. For example, I went with a set of 4 rotors from Brake Performance, that ran all of $260 shipped. I have 500 miles on my set as of today, and I am very pleased with them.

If you are getting new pads also, I'd get the Hawk HPS pads.

Thanks guys, that's a start. I want to track the car a few times, yet have the look at corvette shows.
