This may be a dumb question, but I am in the process of fixing my AC belt noise, and I am trying to get an AC idler pulley. Currently Autozone only lists one idler pulley for my 98. I thought the AC idler Pulley was different than the main idler pulley.
You are correct, the two idler pulley's are different...the belts are actually different widths...
Buy the same PN that Autozone uses for the AC TENSIONER pulley and you'll be all set. Just use one tensioner pulley for the tensioner and use the other TENSIONER PULLEY for the AC idler arm...
I did this for mine and found this out on the forum, the pulley's are the exact same...
