A while ago i noticed my car idles somewhat rough, not very bad, small enough that a passenger can barely feel it when sitting at a light. But to me its feelin like the world is rockin and i could feel it a mile away. (that bond between man and his corvette ) Anyways i have changed plugs and wires, and have run several bottles of fuel injector cleaner. (the wal-mart stuff) nothing has really worked yet. My car is a 02 with 70,000 miles. Any ideas or advice would be nice.
My '99 never idled perfectly smooth. I was told early on that its due to the cam in the engine and so on, so it really never bothered me. My '07 does the same thing.

Mine shudders ever so slightly at idle. It just feels like a very very minor cam lope.
Now crank up my '76 and she'll show you what REAL cam lope feels like.
how can i do that? is it something i can do at home or do i need to take it in?
Its very easy, just 3 bolts to TB may be 10mm or 12mm, flat screw driver, a rag, electronics cleaner bottle, and thats it, u can easily do at home in ur driveway or garage.

Its easy. You just have to be very careful with the MAF. There are thin wires that you don't want to break. Some people spray electrical contact cleaner on them, others carefully use a Q-tip to do it. Just be careful either way.
you can buy an "MAF" cleaner at advance auto or auto zone. Just spray it on the MAF wires - DO NOT touch the wires .You can also spray your TB with it.
