Default Need Advice for Next Mod

Hey you guys I am going to get the Blackwing next week and would like your input as to what mod I should do next...something not too complicated...something that I can do myself...already have an exhaust...but that's about it.

If it's a 6-speed I'd do an aftermarket shifter and a CAGS eliminator. Maybe a throttle body by-pass and a lower temperature thermostat too.

los7883, hi,

You may consider to complete the first part of the intake section. As nice and valued choice I would recommend you the BPP VORTEX AirDuct/AirBridge along with their Silicone-Coupler, followed ev. by a GMS-MAFS, clear-up with Throttle Body Bypass. :yesnod:

Those components would nicely match your already good start and might give you an excellent weekend project.:smash: :smash:

Joe.

Yea I was thinking about getting the coupler shown below...

As for the throttle body bypass...I have heard a lot of mixed opinions about it. Some say it doesn't do any good, others recommend it highly...any feedback on this one? Also which would be a really good MAF sensor to get?

as far as MAF sensors go....... I have the Granatelli MAF, it's recalibrated to allow for the additional air flow.
what ever way you go with the MAF, wether it's just removing the screen from your stock MAF or installing MAF ends, or the GMS MAF, I believe you should still tune it with a MAF translator. for me, the GMS MAF was closer to 0 on my LTFT's and required less adjustments with the MAF translator.
