Remove & reinstall center dash A/C vent

Remove & reinstall center dash A/C vent
OK - simple question for a simple mind I guess. Is there a way to remove the top center dash A/C vent on a '02 Z06 from the front without tearing part of the dash out? I want to install a Shift light behind the louvers. Any "how to" will be appreciated.

Thanks for the heads up! I really don't want to do major surgery just to install my Raptor. I have a radar detector hard mounted to the bottom of the rv mirror brkt - I may velcro the Raptor to the bottom of that or look at the A-pillar. Really appreciate the response.

I agree with the first response, no way to get it out from the front. But like he said it is fairly easy to get out. It doesn't take much time and there aren't a whole lot of electronics and things to unplug. It would be a cool spot for the light though.
