Default how much power?

how much power can i make before i start breaking the rearend.. torque tube? transmission etc????

i am only going to go to the track and make a few passes..
i usually just drive the car once a month

i have a 408 and i'm making close to 500 hp and 480 ft lbs to the tires on a mustang dyno. thats naturally aspirated. i am also jetting the car with a 200 shot wet kit.

i have a yank 3200 stall converter, and i'm running a 315 bfg drag radial on the back.

p.s.... what are the times and regulations on how fast you can run at a 1/4 mile track.?? like how fast for a roll bar, when do you need a helmet? etc...

Have a normaly aspirated engine making about 400, occasionaly run a 200 shot of nitrous, so about 600 HP, have yet to have a problem, but the season is still young!
Do you run at any local dragstrips? Cordova here.

With the DR's and that power, you can certainly brake a shaft with the right launch. Real sticky track and 5K at launch and it is a matter of time.

i honestly just wanna get a couple of runs in.. then it'll be a street car. i don't plan on launching at 5,000, i'm an auto with a 3200 stall.. only planning on leaving off the foot brake at maybe 2500 rpm.
