As a track tire once you get the tire pressure right they're very impressive. I had heard the sweet spot was about 46 - 48 lbs so I started with 40 lbs cold. By the end of the first session I was pretty unhappy until I checked the hot pressure and found it had gone up to 53 - 54 hot. I'm now starting at 34 lbs cold which takes them to 46 - 47 hot and after two days at Thunderhill I can say I'm very pleased with them.

I've heard nothing but good things about these tires. They heat up quick, very sticky, streetable, and good life. I'm buying a set within the next few months.

I'm not sure what size rims you are putting them on but I've noticed at some websites ie racetire.com the 315/30 18's are considerably cheaper than the 305's. You may want to take that into consideration.

Good luck!
