I keep getting the check engine light and codes related to the purge valve. I bought a new purge valve but can't figure out how to get the goofy clips off without breaking them.
Can someone please let me in on the secret to removing them in one piece
I just gently squeezed them with a pair of needle-nose pliers and they pulled apart pretty easy. Took me about 45-1hr to figure out the secret then it was so easy I was mad at myself for about the same amount of time. Be careful so you don't break them since they are plastic.

When gently squeezed in the proper place, they come off very easily. Good luck Easter egging.
