Default Magnesium wheels and drag radials?

I'm thinking about buying drag radials for my stock magnesium rears. I think they're 18x9.5 what tire size do you guys recommend?

Also on a side note i was a track yesterday and saw a guy running those gto spares as skinny's up front do those bolt right on with no mods?

How did it go?? Didn't see you there,,,but with that giant mechanical clusterf**k the had there with all the classes there it was hard to find any body!! I got there at 5:30 and stayed till they closed at 11:00 and only got 3 passes. In years past with Street legal tires only,,you could get there later and get 6 passes in by 9:00 pm!! Some of the vet guys only got 1 or 2 passes!!

I was looking but i did'nt see you either. I got there at 6:00 came straight from work and didn't make my first run until 9:25
and my second at 10:55. my first run was a 12.9 @115mph with a horrible 2.278 60' and .681 reaction time. My second run i had a better launch .592 reaction with a 2.0 60' but i missed a gear and ran a 13.3
I'm hoping i can better next time. But to be there for 5hours and only race for 26 seconds sucked.

I had 305 Nitto Drag Radials on my mag wheels. Not recommended but they worked fine for me for well over 5,000 miles.

I run 305 nittos on my mag wheels and they work great. They aren't "recommended" because the extra width hanging off the rim can make for some hairy high speed turns, especially on uneven pavement. I had a real close call with my *** end getting loose on a high speed turn and learned my lesson.

U dont need 305. 275 is enough to leave your rear end on the line. People are going 8s with them. Think more of a fatter sidewall than width.
