Alright. I have to ask this because you just never know. I am looking for someone interested in swapping their M6, torque tube to rear diff, for my A4 setup, torque tube to rear diff, including the wiring harnesses.
Thanks to a good friend of mine, Charlie @RPM Motors, I can provide the lifts needed to do the swap, maybe 1 day-2days tops. Your car can also be tuned if need be by Charlie once your A4 goes in. My Vette is a '98, and yes it does have the smaller 10mm torque tube, and ther A4 trans has the original 53000 miles on it and has shifted flawlessly. No leaks of any kind.
My diff ratio is 3.15, but I have the brand new 3.42 ring and pinion along with the bearing and seal kit needed for the swap if you don't like the 3.15 ratio.
Shoot me a PM if anyone out there is interested. Thanks.
If they were stock and they liked the colors, then ya. But, most have other mods that would be much more work to swap. I don't understand why people think changing the transmission is such a big deal. Its just parts like the engine, or suspension, body mods...

Pedals, wiring, reprogramming, console, ... It's not trivial-doable but not trivial.
Since my brother did this conversion I know it is hard but doable. The mechanical part is not too bad. It's all the electronics that make it difficult.
Yeah, it is definitely a project, but like most people say it's not a bigger job than doing say a LS3 into a LS1 car. Everything bolts right in, but some electronics have to be added/changed.

And programmed I believe. Seems like a WOT but it's your time.

I am slowly starting to realize that, but I am fine with it. Anyone have a '98 trans harness for a 6 speed they want to sell?
