Passenger window and locks intermittment
I replaced the door control module because the window and locks were intermittment. With the new module installed and before I put the door cover on both locks and window worked fine, ran the window up and done 6 time and locked and unlocked the door several times, put the door cover on and both windows and locks worked, testing both several times. Took the car out this morning and both windows would not go down, ran some errands car was shut off and started several times and now all locks and window function properly, but I do not have confidence that they will tomorrow.
Any suggstions where to look next, I would like to get this issue resolved.
Thanks
Dave

Are you sure the problem is not with the wiring from the body to the door module that passes through the rubber boot?
That has been the problem for several people.
When the window does not work, do you hear the relay click, or is it silent like it is not getting power at all?
A lot of times the window will quit working, but you can still hear the relay click and the motor is just stuck.
Since you are having problems with both the window and door lock, chances are good that you are losing power to the module.

coyote 70, go to the stickies at the top of the C5 tech section. Read Bill Curlee's long electrical post about the wireing between the A pillar and the door. Lot of reading, saves a lot of $$$$$$.
i had a similar issue.
When it goes out, does the panel light go out? If so, I had the same thing. Turned out that a wire in the harness in the door had a wire jacket that had slid down and was exposing one of the wires, causing it to short out I'm assuming. I slid the wire jacket back down, and taped in place, and haven't had an issue since. Might want to check out the wires in the harness in the corner of the door by the hinge.

Open the door, and pull back the rubber sleeve that covers the wire harness. On one of the harnesses, there was 1 wire with a clear plastic sleeve that had been pulled back, exposing the wire. Pull the plastic back up covering the wire (and tape in place if you want, I did)
That should take care of the issue. It did for me. If it doesn't, next time it occurs, try jiggling the whole harness in the door to see if the lights come back in the door panel. If they come back on with a jiggle, just start checking the rest of the wires.
I went out this morning and pulled the boot out of the door and loked over the wire harness, I did not see where the wrap was damaged. I jiggled the harness and put the boot back and now the winod and lock works with the controls on both doors. Where did you find the insulation sliding, down by the door control module?
Thanks
