Default Wedge, Canted/Hemi Heads design

I'm using Compcams Camquest6 software to try and get an idea of what kind of motor I want to build. The question I have is the two types of heads they have to choose from, Wedge & Canted/Hemi. Switching between the two have dramatic differences in estimated peak hp. I haven't noticed manufactures such as trickflow or afr breaking down the heads like this. What catagory would stock heads fall under? Can aftermarket heads fall under either catagory? What are the pros/cons between the two?

2 valve, wedge, all out porting and mods: 570 fwhp @ 7k
2 valve, hemi/canted, high flow, all out porting/mods: 615 fwhp @ 7k

The rest of the engine is built like this:

LS2 6.0L
224/228, .534/.537, LSA 112+2
intake valve 2.08
exhaust valve 1.60
CR: 11:1
Combustion Chamber 74.59 cc
FAST 90 intake & 90mm TB (1150cfm)
Longtubes w/o cats

How do you get 11:1 compression with 74.59 cc head ??

the program is changing the combustion chamber size based on the CR, if I select 10:1 it changes the combustion chamber to 82.87 cc, 11.5:1 71.03cc, etc. The program only lets the user modify the CR.

What exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to determine cam specs, bench race or figure out how much a motor will make??

I'm trying to understand the difference between the two head designs that are listed. I put the rest of the specs on there to illustrate how the two heads affect hp on the same theoretical motor. I realize some things like the combustion chamber cc's are out of whack but I'm unable to change it. The program is just for estimates, however it predicts an extra 45hp with the hemi/canted heads vs the wedge heads. So even if this is unrealistic there must be a defined difference between the two, which is all I want to know.

The combustion chamber is the difference, A HEMI head has a spherical chamber (hemispherical) while a wedge head has a chamber shaped kinda like a wedge. Picture a triangle on its side.

Hemi Head

5.7 and 6.1 HEMI Head

Wedge Head

Note how the chamber is shallow at the front and deep at the back, wedge.

LSX heads are wedge's.
