Have good low side pressure and no HVAC codes. Compressor engages fine.
Edit: The pressure was actually quite a bit high, so I let some out. However, the A/C was cold last summer, I haven't added anything to cause the pressure to increase since. Both sides warm, so the actuator(s) seem to be out of scope.

Exactly what were the pressures? High and Low. Temps and engine rpm's?
As I remember it takes just about 2 cans of R134 from evacuated to full. I pulled out the expansion valve which is located in the place where the lines are running on the passanger fender. A single bolt connects both halves and it was a BITCH to get the old valve out. Finally used some AC oil and a pair of needle nose vise grips and pulled and prayed. Before that was getting poor cooling and charged it twice including buying some condenser cleaner which I sprayed on the condensor fins to no avail. Replacing the $3 plastic part in the line, adding about 2 ozs of regrigerent oil, evacuating and recharging did the trick for me. BIGHANK
