I installed it as instructed.. and all works great except, when I use my windshield wipers - the unit "resets" itself over and over again until i turn them off..
Well, that's weird. Really weird. I would guess that you have the deluxe unit and that you got the blue wire hooked to the wrong point. Call Mike Schriber at (858) 597-0070. Very nice, helpful folks.

I will give Mike a call, but just as an FYI - I dont have the Delux unit.. so there is no blue wire..
I've noticed on a 2001 coupe with 1SC and HUD.... that the wire colors in the factory harness going to the BCM are not exactly the same colors as in other different trimmed versions.
I know you probably have, but double check your connections. It may be a ground loop.
Hi! Brent, Richard, I just e-mailed both of you about your issues.
We've just found out (from a few end user reports) that triggering the wipers can indeed cause the unit to reset/recycle on some cars. As strange as it may seem, starting the wipers causes the accessory power voltage to occasionally drop to zero, or even go negative! We're amazed, especially since Chevrolet provided the accessory power terminal specifically for add-in devices.
The power dump is so huge it drains the buffering capacitor on the TracActive, which triggers it to run it's program again.
It seems like only a small percentage of cars are experience this problem (it took us forever to duplicate it on our test car), but it's something we want to solve right away. To that end, we are already testing an upgrade which eliminates the problem. The fix will be available to all TracActive owners at no charge.
The only issue to watch is if you've used the factory TC/AH switch to turn Active Handling or Traction Control back on after the TracActive has run. In this situation, running the wipers could cause the unit to turn it back off, which is certainly not desired. To that end, if the weather looks bad, please set your TracActive to Passive Mode (three beeps) before heading out, just to be safe.
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused to our valued customers. We are working at top speed to correct this issue.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to e-mail or call.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
