Warm starting fuel pressure problem
Hi folks, I have been have a problem starting my car when it is warm. It has been doing this for the past 2-3 seasons and I found that when the car was cold it would start rightup. Once it gets up to operating temps then it wont start. I noticed that my fuel pressure gauge was not showing any pressure. By turning the ignition off and on once or twice more the pressure rises and normal starting. I have changed some things and it still does the same thing. Let me state that the items changed were due to engine and blower upgrades and not due to the fuel starting problems.
So I now have a dual racetronix fuel pump setup intank, new fuel filter, replaced the rear fuel feed pipe, and yes it was a pain, fuel rails and injectors are new and I now have a fuel pressure regulator set to 58-60 psi. After the car is warm and it is shutoff I can hear fuel moving around in the rear fuel tank area, and can not tell if it is the return or the "Y" pipe. Any thoughts would be appreciated, cheers Rick
