Correct me if I am wrong, larger primaries lower torque.
Ok so I finally got to drive the car around this weekend for a good distance.
I installed the OBX headers from the recent group buy. After driving it feels like I lost some torque from 2K and below.
The DRM headers looked alot like this.
And the OBX headers look like this.
The primaries on the DRM headers very quickly merged into the collector, while the OBX primaries go for a while until they merge closer back to where the CATS would be.
And the primaries on the DRM were 1 5/8" while the OBX are 1 3/4". Can these two factors be why it has lost some of the torque on the lower end?
The only reason I ask is because I use to be able to cruise in 6th gear and lug it up some hills on the highway. Now the car defiently feels like you need to down shift into 5th when you come onto a hill.
It is true that the smaller primaries will increase low end torque,. It might help to take it for a tune and mention to the tuner the loss of low end power. I'd bet they can tune that out.
i have HPtuners... I have been doing some data logging and hopefully can tune this out. It just feels like the car needs some more fuel or something down low.

Could be the case, I'd say you are on the right track!!
