Default extending O2 sensors

Anybody solder the front O2 sensor wire? Is it stainless? It doesn't seem to want to take the solder. I can always crimp, but I can always pull those apart. Soldering is just so much stronger.

it's too late now but I would of got some extensions. Cutting the wires can lead to problems with water and dirt getting in the connections. i guess now you best bet is to just crimp them and try to make sure they are sealed water tight.

You can get a sealing type heat shrink and it moves the connectors away from the exhaust heat so it shouldn't be an issue. I couldn't find anybody who sold the front extensions only the back ones.

I'm going to try soldering with additional flux tonight and see if it works.

Just crimp them and tape them up, you'll be fine. Did it myself three years ago, no problems.
