Default Changing Light bulb help...

OK so the the manual says turn the lights on then off again quickly to get them to the "half open position". does this position really exist? I must have done this 30 times and no such luck. am I missing something?

You need to pop them open manualy to change. Remove the little plugs the cover the manual lift ***** and turn each side until the buckets lift. Then remove the plastic housing around the lights, four phillips screws, then you are in business.

If you turn headlights on and then turn to the parking light position, the headlights stay up but the lightbulbs turn off. THIS, is where you would change lightbulbs. This is the "half open" position the manual is talking about, it IS confusing.

The manual does say

1.The headlamps need to be halfway open. Turn the
headlamp switch on, then quickly back to the
parking lamps setting. You may have to do this a few
times to get the half-open position.

2. You can also open the headlamps manually by
turning the adjuster to the left.
