My unit is from Cartek and they have it all pre plumbed... Just drop it in place..
I blew into one of the ends to see if there was any flow restriction without the solenoid being engaged..
On one side it took a bit of effort to blow air through it.. and from the other side it was a bit less effort.. but certainly not like blowing air through a straw about the same diameter..
look at your wiring diag the line lock uses a break in the ground to close the solenoid. so unless you have power going to it when you were blowing in to it, you blew into it in the locked position. hope that makes sense

Are you saying the solenoid is a N.C. item? It needs power to open and for the brakes to function normally?

No this is a normally open setup.. The Solenoid Closes when energized..

that is how the slp kit is, has to have power for the car to operate normally extremely dangerous and the reason i went wth the sjm abs delete like lock kit on my t/a
just trying to help i dont know the particular kit that you have, thats why i wanted you to check the diag because i have seen them wired that way

No Way they have power to the solenoid in a Non Lock condition..
Dunno, but have you called Cartek about it? My feeling is it probably is normal- hydraulic brakes can generate hundreds of PSI, far exceeding anything you can generate with your mouth and lungs .
I didn't blow into my line lock but I felt no pedal difference when I put in my cartek unit.

I left a message for Max.. But Eric I agree 1000%.. and I know the hydraulics should overcome anything I can do..
Maybe I will take off Friday to get a jump on the install...

God, I would hope so. They would have to fail "safe" (open) in a non-energized situation in order for you to have normal brakes in case power were lost for whatever reason.
