Traction control on vs. off vis-a-vis e.t.'s
Does anyone have a ballpark idea as to acceleration losses due to having traction control on. I've read that although traction control will prevent spinning the tires at launch, slower e.t.'s are realized. I'm curious if anyone has tried it both ways w/ either a G-Tech or at the track. Thanks

I did three runs, and I found that my best with Traction Control AND Active Handling On was 14.06 and my best with everything off was 13.75. That's largely because I suck at launching the car, but the 14.x times were because TC will prevent you from getting power after chirping the rears on shift! I plan to try competitive mode in order to do this more safely, as per Ranger's wisdom...

[QUOTE]I don't have this info, but the reason the power is less, is because if the car senses the tires spinning it reduces the engine power directly to the wheels. A 1/4 run should never be attempted with TC on IMO. AH yes, but not TC :)[/QUOTE
"should never be attempted", because why? Poor e.t.'s or potential damage to something?
