P0654 h c (engine output speed circuit) help
my tach hasnt worked for a while. every now and then when i hit a bump itll work for a few minutes then die. so after i pulled the code p0654, i been searching high and low for problems(i pulled the ipc and checked for loose conections-looked for cut wires,etc). after all my searching i came to the conclusion i need a new pcm(from various web sites). my car has heads, cam, intake, tuned, the whole nine yards. so my question is do i just take it to a gm dealer to swap out the pcm . if i do that, itll have a stock tune and probably run like ****. or do i buy a new pcm and take it out myself and send it to my tuner,but doesnt the pcm have to sync'ed up by the dealer? thanks for the help
