Default to forge or not to forge?????

I have recently just added a d1 procharger to the mix. I'm at 532 to the wheels, I know this is the limit on the stock bottom end. My ? is this, how much HP can the stock bottom end take if I had the pistons and crank, and all that follows forged? I'm looking to maybe get about 700 RWH, is this possible on a forged stock LS1?

Other mods are(if it matters)
headers, x pipe, corsa exhaust, ported TB, and Intake Manifold, heads were ported on the car. 60lb injectors, 2 bar SD tune

Cost wise is it worth it to get a 383 or a 402, or to just forge mine? Please help, any info will be greatly appreciated!!

I'm not a FI expert, but I think if your goal is 700 RWHP, you need to do forged pistons, maybe connecting rods, ARP bolts, and head studs to achieve that safely. Perhaps methanol injection, too.

Yeah, see my sig, I have a D1 Procharger on a forged 347 LS6, and with heads and cam its a no brainer you can make 700rwhp+ all day long, and have a nice reliable set-up! I am making around 17 lbs of boost.

That being said the power you have now is also perfect for the street b/c 700+rwhp is impossible to hook on the street and you are fine the way you are right now. Don't forget to step up to 700rwhp their is alot more involved then you may realize as you need a new fuel system to support the power and plan on a new clucth and a tranny also if you drive the car hard at those power levels (not to mention new stickier tires). Believe me when I tell you it adds up REALLY QUICK!

I would enjoy your car the way it sits, drive the **** out of it and have fun! If the motor pops or if you MUST HAVE 700rwhp (been there done that) , then build your stock LS1 motor into a forged blower motor and no reason to spend the extra $ on a 383 or 402 stroker when a forged 346/7 LS1/6 motor will make more power than you can ever use on the street!
