Column Lock Engaged, plus B2177 Code??
I have a 2002 coupe, Z51, MN6. The Column Lock recall was performed by the dealer several years ago (not sure if the "second" recall was performed, or if there is still one outstanding for my car. I've read the threads... I'll figure it out...)
Yesterday the Column Lock activated. Could not drive the car. Re-attempted a fresh start several times. Called a tow truck. About 45 minutes later (as the tow truck arrived) re-tried to start up, and.... all worked fine, no CL. Only difference is that I moved the driver's seat (electric control) while waiting. Got home and checked codes. The only one was: A6 SCM B2177H (Seat Front Down Short to Grnd).
Is there any chance the fault indicated by this code could have triggered the CL?
