Default LOL HELP! im am Idot
how do i reset the oil life, i hold the reset button down and it changes to --- but wont go to 100% ???? thanks guys

Floor the accelerator THREE times.

Do all the above within 5-seconds.

Hi Idot -

After you change the oil, turn the ignition on, but make sure the engine is off. Press the "Trip" button on the DIC so that it displays "OIL LIFE" percentage. Press and hold the "Reset" button for two seconds. "OIL LIFE REMAIN 100%" should appear on the display. You can't do this with the engine running

Key on the ignition and bring up the oil life remain

I held the RESET button down and the %-numbers went to "_ _ _", kept it held down and a second or so later, went to "100%" Just keep the reset button pressed until you see the 100%. My car is a 2001.
