Working on replacing my broken timing chain, and I have one of those pulley puller kits from Advance. I have a Powerbond 25% UD pulley, so I need to use the 2/3 yoke w/ 3 bolts to thread into the holes in the pulley. The M10x1.5 bolts in the kit are the closest fit, but they don't seem to go into the holes w/ ease. Plus, they are not long enough w/ the recessed face of the balancer, so I'm gonna try to get some longer bolts from The Home Depot or somewhere...
So, does anybody know definitively what size/pitch bolt the Powerbond needs?
You need to get the Chrystler pulley not the gm. I have done this several times in the last couple months with my power bond..Let me know if you have questions
I used the little round guy to plug into the hole then a bolt threaded into the balancer to force the pressure on that instead of the threads inside. Takes about a minute to pull off.
The bolt thread size is m16x2. I made my own tool to install it. Come in 3' lenght and some washers. total was 21 bucks and you can make 3-4 of these things and sell to recoupe your cash if you want
Km specifically asking about the power bond pulley and the three bolts that it has. You don't need a puller with teeth. I just need the thread and pitch of the three small bolt holes. Sorry for the concussion.
