Default Will the computer adapt to new heads

I am going to put some LS6 heads, headers, cam, UD pulley, and dyno tune on my 02 LS1. If I go ahead and do the heads now and wait on the other stuff until winter months will the computer learn and accept the heads? Heads have patriot gold dual valve springs on them also. I have the heads on hand and figure I could swap them out in a couple of hours and pick up a few hp for the driving season or is the a no don't do it just wait and do all at once thing. Thinking about LG street headers, has anybody had any bad experiences with these fitting or other problems?

I'm not an expert on the heads, but I'd assume you would want a tune. Better heads can make a big difference in flow.

I have the LG streets and no problems. Good luck.

Actually, I forgot that you won't have the headers on already, so not sure how much you would gain from just heads. I've heard of "just heads" packages that are complimented with LT Headers that make good power. Of course, the updated Cam would be the icing on the cake for that set up.

The car will run prob pretty well with the added heads but I would always have the tune checked before going WOT. If you added compression you might also have to redo the timing tables.

Headers are a hell of a lot easier to do once the heads are off. I practically threw mine in from across the room.
