Shifter Problem, Not typical
I just put 3.90 gears in my car last night and at about midnight we finished putting everything back together. We took the shifter out because we were planning on changing the torque tube bushings but didnt because of the project intailed in removing the down pipes for the turbos. Anyways.... We put the shifter back in and it wont go into all of the gears. I already searched the whole forum and tried every suggestion including putting the pin in and locking the shifter in neutral and lostening and retightening the torqx. That didnt work and i tried tightening the torqx with the shifter in different positions and that didnt work either. When the car is off i can get the shifter into every gear but reverse but when i start the car it will only go into 1st 4th and 6th. It is an aftermarket Kirbin short throw. Any suggestion would be welcome. Kevin
