Battery disconnect during storage??????
I will not be using my 98 cpe for 10 weeks. I think I should disconnect the battery since it will probably go dead anyway. What do you think??? Does the computer lose anything important??

I would say yes to be safe. For whatever reason the C5 will get a dead battery if it sits too long. I had my battery replaced because it went dead a few times with it sitting for 6 weeks at a time.

C5's seem to draw alot of power even when they sit. If you are not going to drive your car for 3 or more weeks you should either disconnect the battery or invest in a Battery Tender type product :cheers:

The longest mine has sat without running is about 6 weeks with no problems. The car will be 5 years old in May and the original battery is still in it.
