oil sending unit
Read a while back in a few post that there were some oil sending units available in BRASS again. I had my wife run by autozone, advance and NAPA today, and all they had was aluminum
Does anyone have a part # for these mysterious brass units?

I have followed that thread for a while, but it seemed to concentrate on relocating for ease of changing out.
There were a couple of post in march, where guys said that they had bought senders from Auto zone and advance that were "definitely brass" but they didn't give a part #, and both stores told my wife there was no such thing

Right off my box from Advance Discount, BWD S4202 $38. at the time I bought it. Nice shiny brass and it's still working without relocating.

My wife's going to enjoy picking one of these up (It's for her car) The guy at Advance told her "I don't know who told you there were any brass ones; they don't make brass anymore" To which she replied, "Well my husband says they make brass, and if he says they do, then you can bet your A _ s they DO!!"
So you can see why she is looking forward to picking one up

My understanding is BWD is Borg Warner but it doesn't say that on the box. It has an address, BWD Automotive 37-18 Northern Blvd, Long Island City, NY 11101
I'd heard there was a price increase. My receipt lists $38.49 on 12/06/08
