Mine fit like crap also. Takes alot of time and adjusting. I got mine to look okay but still not really happy. At least they sound good...... There are a couple of guys on here who have had good luck getting them mounted straight. I ended up taking mine to a shop to get them tac welded and the wrench there even said they were garbage. Oh well you get what you pay for......
$650 is not 'getting what you pay for'. Other catbacks on the market are wayyy overprice and we all know it.
They do sound good, yes. But they look like dog sheet. I might slam my mufflers all the way up to get them out of the way and then take a torch and bend the tips. Fu<kin chinese sh1tbox.

it took some time, surely no 4 hrs though and mine look pretty good. the only part that looks bad is the drivers tips stick out 1in further than the pass. its my fault i dindt push the over the axel back all the way. I didnt even get new clamps like everyone says and i have zero leaks. maybe i got lucky i love my system and the price is great. my mufflers are tucked nice and level. i would say they are about 90% perfect if i could get the drivers scooted back an inch i would say 97% which is as good as they will get as i am a perfectionist.
I've noticed several members here have had difficulty aligning these multi-piece catback systems. I tossed the clamps that came with mine and picked oup 4 band clamps from NAPA. The technique I use is I leave all the clamps somewhat loose and start tightening them at the x-pipe flanges first.
I work my way back, tightening a bit on each clamp and working back and forth from front to back until they are all snug enough to hold the system in place reasonably straight. Then it's a matter of making adjustments and tightening the rest of the way.
I have a lift so that makes it much easier to work on the system and to take your time to get it just right. The NXT system fit much better than the first Borla Stingers I bought a few years ago. They were bent wrong at the factory so they exchanged them for me.

Yea they have also gone way up in price. I paid 449.00 for mine shipped a little over a year ago...... keep your eyes open JW has a set coming in the near future for about the same price maybe less that are really nice. Also The GHLs are very nice and only a a couple hundred more.....
Well I have kooks on my car and they fit just as bad, they are lopsided and fitment is terrible. I dont know how many times ive tried to adjust that and have it not work.
Patches, can you get a DIRECT side shot of your tips? I would like to see if they are even.
Rick, they are all the same thing as NXT just polished/coated and a different seller.

Not So.... The ones JWs coming out with are much nicer fit, 2 piece set up instead of the four pieces of the NXTs, and the GHLS are a 3 piece set-up. The GHL bullitts are the nicest of the bunch but also the most expensive........
I'll see if I can get that shot for you. Believe it - these are closer than any other C5 catback I've installed and I've done plenty over the last 8 years, mine and my buddies'. The only ones closer would've been my Magnaflows that had the tie plate that bolted the two sides together.
I will say that when I did my NXT install, I used a wooden straightedge across all four tips to make sure they aligned and all four touched the straightedge at the same time. Doesn't get any closer than that.

Top Secret stuff here!
Next week they are going on. I will have everything I need by Monday (I hope).
Its not so much the tips being straight as it is them sticking out or just being totaly lopsided. I can make them 'level' but they are literaly not on the same level.
I literally bolted mine on in about 2.5 hours, and with no adjusting they look great. I was expecting alot more problems with alignment from what ive read here, but it was actually no problem at all for me.
The company says I can return them, I have a feeling thats not going to help lol.
If they said you can return them Id go for it. Like I said in previous post if you can wait for JW or get the GHLs that is what I would do. Like I said the GHLs are not even close to being the same. Different muffler, completely different set up not even close. Much better sound also, go to there website and check them out. There are to vendors here that have them for 899.00 shipped.
