I am thinking of installing some new sensors. After my H/C a few years back, one of my O2s didn't survive the trip home untuned, so I replaced the bad one. Now while scanning (short term at idle) with HPT, I see that the voltage between the two O2s is quite different. The short term LIFTs are different a idle and low speed as well with one being + and one -.
Which O2 is the favored one now? I read ACs, NGK/NTK or Denso is best, and Bosh is bad Also read that NGK makes Denso and AC
I still have my rear O2s as well. Is it an option to install those wiht some wiring changes?
Thanks
I have rewired mine in the past and made my own extensions as well, when things were more expensive. however i found OEM ones at Pep Boys for 50.00. I was going to rewire my rear ones but for that price i just bought them new and got the new extensions for thirty at a local shop here in Tampa. Sso for $130.00 plus tax got me two new O2s and extensions and less hassles and headaches.
Well the prices vary a bit, but i actually found the Denso's for $34 ($39 shipped) I just didn't know which ones to go with. A mechanic friend of mine told me the Bosch units were junk, but other guys have said they were great
I'm leaning toward the Denso's or NGKs, but just wanted some feedback form some of the experts
