Default Dual climate display dim

My dual climate light is dim, but when I tap on the display the light gets bright again. It will stay bright til I turn it off and then I will have to tap it again here and there. Any ideas?

Something about the solder being too cold when the circuit board was put together on several boards in the car. Dim Climate control display is one, I have heard the seat control is another. I sent mine to a gentlemen advertising on ebay but heard about him on this forum. Mandigital. I think the turn was about 5 days, including shipping time. It cleared my display and is/was bright as new. You can do it yourself, I just did not have the time to tackle. There are several posts on the subject.

good luck.

There are alot of these on ebay. Most are pretty reputable and reasonable. Be sure to read how extensive their work is. Some charge more-but replace all worn buttons as well. Some charge less- but only resolder the display. Just depends on how far you want to go with it.
