i hope someone can tell me what temp a c5 procharged should be @ today in texas @ 99 out side my car on a 2 hr trip saw temps of 220-238 with the a/c on and 212-220 with it off my auto trans was 220-255 i have a 186 t-stat what do you think thanks scott

Those temps are a bit warm. Have your fans programed to come on sooner to maintain lower engine temps. A thermostat by it self won't help much to lower engine temps if your fans are not coming on until you are above 220-230 degrees. You might also want to consider a tranny cooler 220-255 is warmer than I would want my tranny to be. Mine stays below 200 degrees.

Do you have a seperate fan for the tranny kooler ?
My tranny kooler sucked untill i put a fan on it , then my temps hovered around 170-190 .
yes it is the one with a small fan flexlite i mounted it to the condencer also i have a 3600 stall that may make it hotter with the a/c off the trans went down to 205
i even got a new aluminum Howe radiator with no trans cooler and it made no change in the temp my tuner reset my fans to both come on @ 180 i was thinking my a/c may have too much head pressure and making the condenser too hot and the trans cooler that is mounted to it also the radiator what would you think thanks Scott
