Gas Cap Problems

I went to NAPA today and picked up a STANT gas cap PN 10836. NAPA PN 703-1645. It fits great and it was only $10.99. It does not have a tether tough. No big deal to me though.

I had to replace my oem cap with a Stant when I got the Vette smogged,and the tether from the oem will fit on the Stant -just pry it off the old cap,run some really hot water over it to soften it up and expand it a bit,slide it onto the new cap,and when it cools off,it's a nice tight fit,looks like it was made for it.
