I'm a new owner of a 2000 C5, my buddy and his wife just bought a 98 C5. They are having a problem with both driver and passenger seats sliding, just a bit, forward and backwards while accelerating or stopping. I'm guessing that this is not an isolated case with their corvette. Anyone familiar with this problem and can give us an idea on a fix? Thanks
If you search for this problem within the threads there are a few writeups with pictures on how to fix this...I believe it is in one of the diy stickys also...It looks like its just a couple of right size washers in the right place and it should fix it. Hope this helps
You're going to find there is a wealth of knowledge in here Ian.......the beauty is that most of the replies you'll get are from owners who actually have solved problems hands on
Really appreciate everyone's input and help. Always nice to have some enthusiastic people who enjoy the same hobby and are willing to help out a fellow member. Also to have a pool of individuals with so much experiences to draw from. Thanks again everyone!!!
I'm having a seat rock issue too. I tried the seat fix, but it seems that it is coming from where one of the motors under the seats attach to the seat. The seats move slightly when accellerating/ decellerating. It's very annoying. Anyone have the same issue?
