If it's the one that bolts the firewall, the only time I've had a good look at it was when the engine was removed. That one looks to be a bear with the engine installed.

Ive done this line when changing my a/c compressor and it wasn't the most fun I've had working on the Vette. I got my line from the local Chevy dealer, and just so you know a backorder at Ecklers can take a very long time (I have multiple parts on backorder right now and my hood that wasn't backordered took a month). But, you remove the battery to get to the back side of the line, and you take it off the compressor by removing your pass. front tire and using a loooong extension and universal and 13mm (?) off the back of the compressor. It is a 2 piece unit, and of course replace the filter in the line with a new one. I did it without removing the headers or anything else, but it was a long job since the compressor is a really tight fit. It's doable though, but the dealer charges a lot of time for that job. I would suggest heading to you friendly local dealership for the parts personally if you want your a/c back. good luck

yes it is too hot to even drive it during the day. I am mechanical inclined so if I ever get the part I will tear into it. I think the intake will have to come off. Is there anything else I should look into while its apart.
