So here's the deal. I was putting in new shocks and had one slip I think I may have made a small cut in the outer CV boot... Can I just replace the boot? Or does the car have to go to a shop for a new CV joint. Forgive the ignorance all of my other car have all been straight axle and I've never had to deal with CV joints...

Toss some silicone on it and call it a day Dont get to bent out of shape about it Jay
Yes something flexible enough to withstand the beating and to keep the water and debree out of it. Or if its even available, just buy the boot and install a new one. Jay
