Car wont start
Last night I got in car for a ride on the town but when I turned the key, nothing. Dash light were dim and I could hear a buzzing sound coming from the computor under the dash on passenger side , Even when I took key out of car and closed the doors I could still hear the buzzing coming from inside the car? Have anyone had this before?

Start with the battery and find out if you've got at least 12.v across the battery with the systems off. From there, check the battery cables and the battery cable to the starter connection. We'll need more information past that...codes and etc...what works and what doesn't work. Buzzing might be your seat running and drained the battery.

I had the same symptom a couple of years back. It turned out to be corrosion on the starter lead. Battery checked out fine, but the location of the starter and age of vette can sometimes put some corrosion on your leads. BTW, it is a bear to get to and work on. I let my friendly neighborhood Chevrolet dealer clean it up for me after I was able to get it cranked and suspected the connection after pushing it off. Anyway, you may want to check out the connection.

It was batt. connection, after i took batt. off of charger i noticed screw that tight to terminal would not get tight so i figure it was loosing contact here. I used longer bolt to tighten batt. up and so far so good. Nice ez fix Thanks for the info,
