What are you long term goals? How good are you at working on your own car??

Most will say headers are a necessity for future mods.. I agree. A huge bang for the buck if you want to get into the engine is a cam. You can buy a used one for a couple hundred.. add in valve springs, gaskets, etc to do the job and you'd probably still have some left over.

Just an idea

What are your goals then? Nitrous is the best bang for the buck you're gonna get..but headers are a great long term mod and something you'll def need to get the most out of most other mods from here on out..

Look in the f/s section and get yourself a nice set of used longtubes. They WILL make your car sound, feel, and be faster and they are a necessity for future mods, my next choice would be a cam so you get that nice lumpy idle that let's you know you're bad!

Should get more than that with a tune.

More importantly though is they will help it breathe better. That combined with other mods will be a huge difference over what you'd gain with the stock headers.

That's why I asked what your goals are.. if you aren't planning on ever doing any other mods and just want the most bang for your buck then I still say Nitrous is the way to go. If you're planning on eventually doing heads/cam/intake/anything that's going to need flow more air in/out of the engine then I'd go for headers now.

Give the guys at LG motorsports a call. Headers are a great mod because they compliment pretty everything For example, if you plan on doing heads / cam you will need headers. Expect 15-20 rwhp gains with a tune.

headers all the way. have a 03 z with all of the mods you have, but got headers/tune about a month ago. Car definitely feels stronger and sounds meaner!
Went with ARH, although LG makes great headers too. ARH are a little easier to put on from what I read prior to purchase.

There's guy "Notscared" selling nice RH system, thats the one u need man, get band new LG street system from LG for 1200, go with catted X-pipe, catless u will have drone and sound aweful some times.

Get the street tune more than enough, and get rid of codes p0420 and p0430 u will get it, and if u want to disable cags than its a good time.

you have not spent enough. It is a illness this modifiying vettes,
it never stops. You are never satisfied. I have spent over $20,000
and to look at the car--you could hardly tell. Until you start it up
and drive it--ok ok you see I am already getting reeved up.
